Chandigarh Alumni Golf Invitational 2019

We are glad to announce, that the 4th edition of the Chandigarh Alumni Golf Invitational (CAGI). The tournament will be played on the 1st of November, 2019, at the Chandigarh Golf Club.

The event shall be played between 5 likeminded Alumni’s of some of India’s leading boarding schools, namely, The Doon School (Dehradun), The Lawrence School (Sanawar), Bishop Cotton School (Shimla), Welham Boys’ School (Dehradun) and Mayo College (Ajmer). 

The intention of this event is to further grow the brotherhood of us five Alumni’s who have mostly grown up with similar sporting rivalries during school.

The event will also be a great platform to improve our networking with each other, our event sponsors and special invitees.

It is requested that all WOBS members who are interested to play in the event, for Team WBS, should confirm their participation via an email to SiddharthRakshit at office@wobs.in. Also please mention your contact details.

The Golfers will be entitled toSpot prizes during the rounds and on-course and mid round refreshment. Goody bags will be given at the end of the round. Lunch arrangement for the players and sponsors followed by afternoon activities and activations.

The event starts with a buffet breakfast during registration, at 7am. The Prize presentation and the Gala Dinner will be at 8pm, the same evening. 

The Gala dinner with live band is open to all alumnus not just the players. 

The Non Golfers are welcome to come and cheer Team WBS, on the Golf Course in the morning and mingle with the Alumni from other Schools.

There is also a great opportunity for members who are interested in sponsoring various prizes. Please go through the sponsorship details, outlined in the enclosed Annexure 1.

ANNEXURE 1 - SPONSORS

1. The Presenting Sponsorship
   We hold very high value for our event sponsors and supporters, we always intend to go the extra mile to ensure they are happy and get value out of associating with us. The presenting sponsorship of CAGI makes you stand alone as the presenter of the event and this is available for Rs 3, 50,000/- . This ensures you / your company premier placement / visibility on all branding, on all social media platforms as well as the press releases. It will entitle you 4 spots in the golf tournament and an additional 5 invitations for the lunch & gala dinner. You shall be invited on stage during the prize presentation as well as give prizes. The Tournament will also be titled as “(Sponsor Name) presents Chandigarh Alumni Golf Invitational.” Plus a few other perks along with perks offered to associate sponsors to best ensure your brand gets excellent mileage.
   
   
2. The Associate Sponsorship
   This is available for Rs1,00,000/- and makes you our Partner inviting you to enjoy the festivities, meet and interact with all the invitees and introduce them to your products. This sponsorship level will receive recognition on our social media platform, but most importantly with signage at every one of our venues as well as have your broachers placed in the goody bags. Your logo will be present on the presentation backdrop, acknowledged by the MC during the prize presentation. However we can make a few tweaks to ensure your company gets its deserved mileage for being our associate sponsor.
   
   
3. Spot Prize Partner
   A spot prize hole will be named after your company, along with your branding presence on that hole and every group playing through will be given a certain prize by your presenter on that very hole. One standee will also be placed at the breakfast, lunch & dinner venue. Your company brochure will be placed in the goody bag. You will also be acknowledged for your support by the starter at the start of the golf tournament. Your company logo will also be put on the golf rules / tournament format sheets. The minimum money for the same will be Rs 1,00,000/- after taxes and not including any special branding requirements / requests.
   
   
4. Goody Bag Partner
   Your gift will be placed along with your company brochure in the goody bag given to all participants and one standee will be placed at the breakfast, lunch & dinner areas. You will also be acknowledged at the start of the event by the tournament starter. Your company logo shall also be there on the rules and golf event sheet. The minimum cost for this is Rs 75,000/- after taxes. On behalf of the CAGI team we thank you for taking the time to go through the mail.
