‘The Retired Teachers Wellness Fund’ is a recent initiative started by WOBS upon suggestion received from some of the Alumni members. It was thought that we as old students should build up a corpus especially for the teachers who are retired and have no one to take care of them in their old age, also for those teachers who are in a difficult position financially and cannot take care of an emergency befallen upon them due to their financial constraints.
The various Batch Representatives spoke to their respective Batches about the initiative and it was welcome by all. The corpus was set up and we have started receiving contributions from various batches. What is heartening to see is that this initiative is being lead by the Young Turk batches of the Society
